Hà An Tea.
Hoàng Su Phì is a mountainous district in the west of Hà Giang province, home to picturesque landscapes and the rich culture and heritage of diverse ethnic communities like the H’Mong, Dao, Tày, Nùng or La Chí people.
The rugged and winding terrain as well as sloping mountainous routes make for a thrilling and dangerous ride up to Hoàng Su Phì. And yet, the nature and landscape here are those of majestic beauty, with mountain peaks like those of Tây Côn Lĩnh or Chiêu Lầu Thi – home to primeval forests, charming waterfalls and stunning terraced rice paddy fields.
As the upstream of the Chảy River, Hoàng Su Phì district is also the place where Phìn Hồ, Nậm Ông, Nậm Khòa streams flow along the rocky mountains, creating a year-round beautiful scenery.
In that fascinating nature, Hoàng Su Phì district was blessed with the ancient Shan tea tree, hidden in the mountains and clouds, under the forest canopy of the Tây Côn Lĩnh or Chiêu Lầu Thi mountain ranges. This is also origin and the raw material that make up our Hà An Tea.
Building upon knowledge of the Shan tea tree and its valuable properties and distinctive taste, Hà An Tea aims to use research and technology combined with the traditional tea crafting experience of a 6-generation family hailing from Taiwan’s Miaoli district. We aspire to share the taste and essence of the distinctive Hoàng Su Phì mountain tea with tea lovers in Viet Nam as well as around the world.
Our branding is the culmination of the journey to Hoàng Su Phì district – an arduous journey passing through mountains, clouds, terraced rice paddies, streams and valleys to finally greeting the precious centennial Shan tea trees and the distinctive tea brewed from them. Hà An Tea is this journey, from scenery to the senses, connecting the most quintessential beauty of the highlands to those near and far.
